Annual Giving at UHCL
Annual Giving at the University of Houston–Clear Lake is a powerful way for alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. These gifts—made every year—provide flexible, immediate support for UHCL's most pressing needs and emerging opportunities. Whether it's funding scholarships, enhancing academic programs, or supporting student services, your annual gift helps ensure that every Hawk has the resources to soar.
Why Annual Giving Matters
Annual gifts are the foundation of UHCL's philanthropic support. They:
- Provide critical funding for student success initiatives.
- Help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of education.
- Support innovative programs and campus improvements.
- Demonstrate community commitment to UHCL's mission.
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. When combined with others, annual gifts create a powerful collective impact.

Thank you for making Giving Tuesday a success!
Because of your generosity, UHCL students will have access to food, emergency support, and vital resources that help them stay on track and thrive. You’ve shown our students that their community believes in them—and that makes all the difference.
Whether you supported either of the areas below, or a fund that is important to you, your gift is already making an impact.
The Hawk Pantry
Provides students with access to food, toiletries, hygiene products, school supplies,
and household essentials.
The Hawk Emergency Fund
Offers financial assistance to students experiencing unforeseen emergencies—such as
housing instability, medical crises, or loss of income—that threaten their ability
to stay enrolled.
