Introducing Togetherall-the online peer support community

Togetherall is a safe, online, peer to peer community to share feelings anonymously and connect with others in order to improve mental health and wellbeing.  In the Togetherall community people support each other, safely monitored by licensed mental health practitioners. Togetherall also has helpful courses and assessments available.

The Counseling and Mental Health Center partners with Togetherall and has arranged for UHCL students to participate in Togetherall for free. Sign up with your email address.

The Mind Spa

Feeling Stressed? Looking for new relaxation techniques? Just need a space to relax and unwind? Did you know the Counseling and Mental Health Center is home to The Mind Spa? The Mind Spa is a biofeedback lab and relaxation room available to you during our regular office hours.

With biofeedback, you're connected to sensors that give you information about your bodily functions, such as heart rate and skin conductance. This information helps you make subtle changes in your body, which can help with relaxation. You will practice deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, and mindfulness.

The Mind Spa also features:

  • Massage chairs
  • Aromatherapy
  • Coloring for calm
  • Zen garden
  • Water features and sound spas
  • Yoga mat
  • Meditation cushion
  • Star projector
  • Lavender sachets
