Course Information

Class Environment

Classes are small, with a minimum of five students. In our small classes, you'll receive personal attention from the teacher and form friendships with other students. We strive to create a comfortable, stress-free atmosphere. Students come from all parts of Bay Area and represent all age groups and professions.

We focus on conversational skills, and the method is totally oral. You will be speaking in the desired language from the first class meeting. You will also learn grammar by practicing oral drills with other students. Our drills use practical vocabulary necessary for everyday situations encountered abroad.

The oral method encourages students to think in the language more quickly than in traditional methods of language teaching.

Our teachers all have native fluency, advanced degrees in the language, and experience in teaching with the oral method.

Textbooks and Audio Materials
Tuition fees do not include books and audio materials. Information on how to obtain these materials will be explained by the instructor. These materials are normally used for at least one calendar year.
Noncredit Offerings and CEU Credit
All classes are offered on a noncredit basis. Course participants may receive Continuing Education Units upon satisfactory completion of their classes. CEU registration forms maybe obtained by calling 281-283-3033. There is a $10 charge for CEU certificates.
