Biography

I joined the Department of Engineering at the University of Houston - Clear Lake in August 2016. Prior to joining the University of Houston - Clear Lake, I received a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas. I earned a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Colorado State University - Pueblo and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering from Uludag University, Turkey.

My primary research interests include the application of operations research techniques to model and solve large-scale logistics planning problems arising in the humanitarian and supply chain sectors. I am also interested in applying simulation techniques to complex systems such as healthcare and scheduling problems.
