Biography
Dr. Kim is interested in superconductivity. His recent research interest is focus on understanding the non-linear dynamics of topological particles such as magnetic vortices in superconductors and fluxons in tunnel junctions between multi-band superconductors and between one-band superconductors and a topological insulator. He is interested in understanding unusual physical property due to fractional Abrikosov vortices in multi-band superconductors and fractional Josephson vortices in tunnel junctions from unusual non-linear phase dynamics of the superconducting order parameters.
