Anton V. Dubrovskiy, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Chemistry,
College of Science and Engineering
Anton Dubrovskiy, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 2012 under the guidance of Prof. Richard Larock, primarily focused on the development of aryne-mediated synthetic methodologies. Following postdoctoral work at the California Institute of Technology with Prof. Sarah Reisman in the area of total synthesis, Anton joined the chemistry faculty at University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2014. His research will target development of novel hypervalent iodine-mediated processes, functionalization of biomass products, and total synthesis of small bioactive molecules.
