R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense)

Since May 2009, the UHCL PD has instructed 20 RAD classes on campus with over 450 graduates consisting of students, staff, faculty, student family members and Clear Lake residents.

Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) is nationally acclaimed and teaches women self-awareness, basic self-defense measures, and builds confidence for graduates. Visit www.rad-systems.com for more information. 

FREE to all students, employees, family members, alumni and Clear Lake community members. Your investment is time; both days must be complete to graduate. Graduates are welcome to return to any class to practice their skills.

Classes are held at the University of Houston Clear Lake – Police Department Building, at 700 Bayou Rd., Pasadena, TX 77058.
