Need to study and ask a few questions? Drop-In Tutoring is available for you when we’re open. Bring your study materials and student ID, and we’ll take care of the rest. While you study, tutors will check on you, and help you with any difficulties you may have.
Tutor availability depends on the course and the semester. All tutors can assist with some courses, while other courses have more limited tutor availability. Please call ahead to the Math Center to check on tutor availability for your course:
|All Tutors||Some Tutors|
|College Algebra||College Physics I/II|
|Pre-Calculus||University Physics I/II|
|Math for Business and Social Sciences||TeXeS Exam Prep|
|Math for Liberal Arts||Statistics / Probability|
|Calculus I/II||Math Software Applications|
|Calculus for Business and Social Sciences|
If you want individualized help, either call the Math Center, or inquire at the front desk. The courses available for one-on-one tutoring are the same as drop-ins and depend on tutor schedules and Center usage.
Appointments may be booked on a recurring basis from once a month to twice a week. Two no shows result in ineligibility to book one-on-one appointments for the semester.
