Anne Henry, M.F.A., is lecturer in communication and digital media studies at University of Houston-Clear Lake. She worked in the graphic arts industry for over 30 years. She has experience in the areas of graphic design, advertising design, cartography, instructional art and media, graphics management and 3D modeling and 3D animation.
As a staff member, Prof. Henry managed the Digital Media and Graphics Department at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, overseeing a team of graphic designers and video and multimedia specialists who were tasked with the production of advertising materials, collateral art, instructional art, multimedia and videos.
Prof. Henry was art director for Northrop-Rice Aviation, producing advertising art and collateral materials for this national company. She also had the role of designer on a research project developing 3D stereoscopic presentations in the early 1980s when this technology was new.
