Information Security Road Show
In the age of information and instant access it’s easy to take our technology for granted, exposing ourselves to unnecessary risk. University Computing and Telecommunications offers a roadshow with a nice “rap” up in the end. This presentation/training is a must see for any department or team. Contact the university’s Information Security Officer, Anthony Scaturro by e-mail or phone (281 -283-2954) to schedule a session.
There are two types of mandatory training UHCL employees must complete in accordance with state of Texas, and University of Houston System Board of Regents mandates. The courses are to be completed by all new or returning university employees (including faculty, staff, student workers, and temporary employees paid through the payroll system).
Annual Mandatory Training
Annually, all University of Houston System employees complete required online training courses.
It is the responsibility of each employee to complete mandatory training. Employees who do not complete annual mandatory training by the published deadline will not have met their job expectations and will therefore not be eligible for merit increases per the Employee Development Training Policy.
New Hire Mandatory Training:
All new employees must complete New Hire Mandatory training courses as required by state of Texas, and University of Houston System Board of Regents mandates within 30 days of being notified of enrollment.
