Completion of Self-Quarantine / Isolation

Return to Campus Guidelines

If you have been self-quarantined or self-isolated, you must follow the following Return to Campus guidelines before resuming your normal school, work and related activities.

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate)

  • Stay home for 5 days.

  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you may return to campus.

  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

You must be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to campus.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

Exposure is defined as being within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • If you have been boosted and completely vaccinated:
    • You may continue to come to campus as long as you remain free of symptoms.
    • Wear a mask around others.
    • Test 5 days after exposure, if possible.
  • If you are not boosted OR are unvaccinated:
    • Stay home for 5 days.
    • Test on day 5, if possible.
    • Monitor for signs and symptoms.
    • If you remain symptom-free after day 5, you may return to campus and it is recommended to continue to wear a mask for 5 additional days.
  • If you develop symptoms, get a test and stay home
