Dear Student,
We are about to begin a new academic year, which will be unlike any previous year, with unique challenges and opportunities. University of Houston-Clear Lake is committed to the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and campus community. As part of that commitment, all students, regardless of whether you are taking face-to-face (bimodal) courses or a combination of online instruction modes, are required to complete the training entitled "Protecting Our Campus Communities from COVID-19" prior to coming to campus.
The "Protecting Our Campus Communities from COVID-19" safety training should only take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The content includes how you can become infected with COVID-19, and the prevention measures you are required to take. Furthermore, the training covers actions that must be completed before coming to campus, as well as actions you should take if you think you have been exposed to, or have tested positive for COVID-19. At the end of the training, you will complete a self-certification stating that you understand the expectations and requirements for protecting yourself and your campus community from COVID-19.
You must complete this training before coming to campus:
To begin "Protecting Our Campus Communities from COVID-19," log into E-services, then click on the "Tasks" tile and "COVID-19 Training – Return to Campus." Please don't forget to click the ACCEPT button on the Acknowledgement page and click the SUBMIT button upon completion.
If you have specific questions related to the Student Return to Campus Training, please contact the Division of Student Affairs at StudentAffairs@uhcl.edu
It will take all of us committing to do our part to keep our fellow community members healthy and safe.
