Apply to the program by submitting all required paperwork, including your TEP Application, via the Blackboard COE Teacher Education Program Admission Workgroup. Follow the TEP Admissions Blackboard Instructions to self-enroll in the workgroup and upload all your required documents. Please note: with the Blackboard update the self-enrollment process has changed. If you accessed the instructions prior to June 9th, please download the new instructions now available.
Please note that the first time you access the TEP application workgroup, you will be required to complete a statement acknowledging that you have read and agree to abide by the COE Professional Dispositions. Once this is completed, you will be given access to the application portion of the course.
After completion and submission of the TEP Application and supporting documents, please allow up to 10 business days for the COE Certification Office to process the application. If you are missing any information or your application is denied or pending, the COE Certification Office will contact you.
When approved, you will receive an email from the office verifying your admission. You will then need to “ACCEPT” your admission with a response email. Upon being admitted to TEP, you will be able to register for the pedagogy (teaching) courses listed on your degree/certification plan. You may contact the Certification Office at 281-283-3618 or email@example.com if you have additional questions.
