Important COVID-19 Update

We know that the countless impacts of COVID-19 are affecting all of our UHCL Students in many ways. Counseling Services is committed to providing services in the best interest of your emotional and mental health needs and continued personal growth during this very challenging time.

We continue to offer all of our services remotely in a confidential virtual format as well as in-person Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In-person therapy sessions are offered by appointment only, dependent upon current campus protocols. To book your appointment, please call 281-283-2580.

Mental Health Services

UHCL Counseling Services offers free and confidential therapy to currently enrolled UHCL students. At this time, all services are securely provided through Zoom save for exceptional clinical circumstance or as part of an ADA-approved accommodation. If you need a private, confidential space from which to do your Zoom sessions, speak with our staff about available options. All the Feelz Workshop Series

This workshop series will run from Sept.7 through Dec. 3 and is open to any UHCL student, you do not need to be a client. The frequency of these workshops may change depending on level of utilization by students so please check back here and on the UHCL Counseling Services Facebook page for updates.

Eligibility

Any currently enrolled student is eligible to receive counseling services, and most services are free of charge. All faculty and staff are eligible for a consultation session and referral for continued services. Services are strictly confidential.
