Description of Job

Department: Development, Events Associate

  • Supporting the development team in planning and coordinating events.
  • Organize and maintain volunteer documents for events.
  • Work with team leader to provide orientation and instruction to event volunteers.
  • Assist in Development of internal and external promotional material.
  • Assist in public relations and marketing tasks to coordinate media activities.

Department: Development, Fund Development Associate

  • Responsible for implementing part of the organization's donor communication plans and assist in the development of new strategies.
  • Worth with director to lead certain campaigns with the development plan.
  • Work with director to develop new strategies to increase revenue and efficiency.
  • Regularly communicate with current and potential donors via phone and email.
  • Conduct research on special projects.
  • Manage aspects of the donor management systems.

Department: Transformed, Support Specialist

  • Responsible for conducting assigned home visits.
  • Provide emotional support to clients through phone calls and visits.
  • Track client communication in case management software.
  • Write short reports when needed.
  • Assist clients in filling out applications (SNAP, TANF, etc.)

Department: Transformed, Associate

  • Responsible for assisting Transformed Manager in the implementation and improvement of direct client service and case management activities.
  • Answer telephones, emails, and take messages from clients.
  • Collect client's information and fill-in take forms.
  • Conduct initial assessment of those requesting service.
  • Assist with coordinating social gatherings.
  • Communicatewith external organizations.
  • Support staff in assigned project work.

Deparment: Finance and Administration, Team Solutions

  • Responsiblefor supporting the Team Solutions division in areas of recruitment, payroll, benefits, and maintenance of personnel files.
  • Perform pre-screening of candidates via phone.
  • Assist in on boarding new hires.
  • Maintain and  update personnel files.
  • Communicate and collect benefits packages information.

Department: Awesome Academy, Associate

  • Conduct site visits and provide reports.
  • Assist with team, vendor, and partner communication.
  • Assist site managers with data management and documentation.
  • Conduct research in special projects.
  • Assist in coordinating events and projects.

Department: Awesome Academy, Tutor

  • Responsible for providing academic and mentoring support to groups.
  • Provide in-school or after school lessons in English, Math, Science, Sports, etc.
  • Assist students with homework.
  • Worth with school teachers to provide direct attention.
  • Manage supplies and program area safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications or Preferences

Department: Development, Events Associate

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite.
  • to day-of-event availability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop or InDesign preferred but not required.

  • 2-3 years of related professional experience.
  • Excellent case management and organizational skills.
