RESPONDUS is a software application for Windows-based computers that enables instructors to readily create and/or import pools of exam/quiz questions and then move those pools into their Blackboard courses. The software also enables instructors to extract existing exams/quizzes and/or pools from a Blackboard course and save them in a Word document for review/editing or documentation purposes.

Respondus is available to UH-Clear Lake faculty and staff only. Authorized users can download, install, and set up RESPONDUS easily on your work or home machine (Windows-based ONLY), or you may call the Support Center for installation assistance.

NOTE for All Current RESPONDUS Users: On August 15, 2018, RESPONDUS announced a change in the interface for the application. Please visit the Course Development & Support Team's blog post about this update for more information about how to switch to the new interface.

If you have already installed and configured RESPONDUS and are in need of assistance regarding how to use the software, contact your school's assigned instructional designer or contact the Support Center and ask to be connected to your instructional designer.
