Blackboard B2/LTI Integration Request

The request form is a “light-touch” document designed to capture enough information to determine if the request is a worth additional consideration and investment of the university's time and resources. Rough, conservative estimates of costs and resources are acceptable and appropriate at this stage.

Instructions: Please review the UHCL Blackboard Building Block/LTI/API Integration Guidelines document BEFORE completing the following request form. When filling out the form, please provide as much detail as possible to ensure that your request is accurately evaluated.

Note: Colleges are considered part of Academic Affairs
Describe the instructional or business issue(s) that the tool will address, improve or solve.
Describe any other solutions or options, both technology or nontechnology related, you have considered as possible solutions.
What is at stake if we do not move forward with a solution to your problem? What does the university stand to lose?
During what hours can faculty, staff and students get technical support from the tool's vendor?
When do you want to start using the tool?
Consider additional funding, personnel/stakeholders from other departments. Ball park estimates are acceptable. If your request is approved, someone for UCT's Project Office will partner with you to figure out any additional details.
