University of Houston-Clear Lake: Where the Choice is Clear

Since 1974, the guiding principle of University of Houston-Clear Lake has been our unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of our students and equipping them to have the greatest possible impact as they complete their studies at the university. UHCL represents a sturdy foundation for driven students who want a rigorous environment where they can prepare for the future.

We maintain a low student-faculty ratio to encourage the development of strong relationships that extend beyond the classroom. It also helps that our beautiful campus is one of the safest in the state. We believe every student deserves an exemplary experience that begins with their education and extends into the lives they impact. Our ultimate goal at UHCL is to help students become successful professionals, productive citizens and proud alumni.
