Susan Sorensen, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Accounting,

Dr. Sorensen teaches international taxation and advanced financial accounting courses. She is currently the program director for the Accounting department and the Beta Alpha Psi faculty adviser. She is a CPA with over 30 years of public accounting experience including working for three of the big four accounting firms. She received the AWSCPA's 2006 Educator of the Year Award. Her research and publications include "Currency Translation Adjustment-Use Excel to understand how multinational companies manage currency translation risks" and "Found in Translation: A guide to using foreign financial statements" in the Journal of Accountancy July 2008 and February 2007 respectively.
