Constance M. Lehmann, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Lehmann brings over ten years of experience in banking and auditing to her classes. Her experimental research focuses on expertise development and case-based learning methods, with articles published in journals such as Behavioral Research in Accounting, the AIS Educators Journal, and the Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, among others. She has been a co-author on an accounting information systems textbook (starting with the 6th edition) with Dr. Cynthia Heagy. Dr. Lehmann holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certifications and is active with ISACA (formerly the Information Systems Audit and Control Association), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Infragard, and ISSA South Texas.
