Sehan Kim, Ph.D.

Biography

Sehan Kim is an assistant professor of accounting at University of Houston-Clear Lake. His research explores the role of accounting information in corporate governance, executive compensation, and capital markets. Professor Kim received his Ph.D. in Accounting from University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a MS in Statistics from Purdue University and a BA in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University. Before entering academia, he worked as an equity analyst for Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. Professor Kim currently teaches Advanced Accounting. He has also previously taught Intermediate Accounting, Accounting Theory & Research, and Principles of Financial Accounting.
