The University of Houston-Clear Lake Art Gallery presented Contemporary Prints from Veracruz in the winter of 2015. The exhibition was organized by Teresa Parker, Curator of Exhibitions and University Art Collections at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill. It featured 26 works by faculty and alumni of the University of Veracruz's School of Fine Arts in Xalapa, Mexico. The exhibition had been touring since 2011, when it made its debut at Benedictine University. The works then traveled to six other venues: College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill.; University of North Texas in Denton, Texas; Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.; University of Wisconsin in Steven's Point, Wisc.; University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, Wisc.; and Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. The premiere in Houston marked the final stop of the exhibition before returning to Mexico. Featured in the exhibition were: Daniel Acosta Aguilar, Edgar Argaez, Byron Brauchli, Jose Coyote, Sergio Dominguez, Humberto Espino, Sebastian Fund, Moises Franco, Roberto Gonzalez, Sr. Gonzalez, Javier Hernandez, Salvador Lorenzana, Daniel Berman Loya, Carlos Palacios, Teresa Parker, Vinicio Reyes, Victor Gomez Silva, Cristobal Tavera, Carlos Torralba, Miriam Gonzalez Trauwintz, and Manuel Velazquez.
