Raise Your Glass Social: A Virtual Whiskey Experience!

This live demonstration event will teach you some fun features about whiskey as well as show you how to make two New Orleans-themed cocktails, perfect for Mardi Gras! Gulf Coast Distillers experts, Mike and Julian, will be the featured speakers. Even though this is a virtual event, you must be 21+ years old to attend. Ingredients can be purchased at a local Spec’s or Total Wine. Note: If you would like to purchase your Rye Whiskey and Gin at Gulf Coast Distillers tasting room, there is a 2-bottle per person per 30 days limit due to TABC regulations.
Featured Drinks and Ingredients
Sazerac Giant Rye
- 1 1/2oz Giant Rye Whiskey (available at the GCD tasting room and Total Wine),
- 4 dashes bitters
- 1 sugar cube or 1oz of simple syrup
- Absinthe spray
- Lemon (for garnish)
- 2oz Bluebonnet Gin (available at our GCD tasting room)
- 3oz lemonade
- Top off with 7up
- Garnish - Mint, orange slice, cucumber slice and strawberry
