What's New with UH-Clear Lake?
Freshman JumpStart and Summer Visiting
Graduating high school seniors may now ‘jumpstart’ their college journeys by applying for summer admission and enrolling in summer classes at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Degree-seeking students simply follow UHCL’s standard admissions procedures and apply by choosing the summer 2018 term on their Apply Texas application OR update their existing application/admission status by contacting UHCL Admissions.
Students planning on enrolling in an institution other than UH-Clear Lake but still wishing to ‘jumpstart’ their college journey may apply as summer visiting (transient) students and enroll in courses for eventual transfer to their intended home institution. This opportunity allows proactive students the ability to take core and pre-requisite courses early to more quickly achieve their academic goals at their home institutions.
