English Enhancement and ESL

The English Enhancement Program helps foreign professionals develop conversational skills in English. If you have already studied the grammar of the English language but can’t converse fluently, this class is for you.

Our courses emphasize the following parts of the spoken language:

  • Pronunciation
  • Intonation
  • Common English speech patterns
  • Vocabulary
  • Idioms

All classes are offered on a noncredit basis.

For the beginning student, we offer English as a Second Language (ESL) in private lessons. These lessons teach writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills. You will also learn about grammar and cultural aspects of American.
