If you’ve already fulfilled your first 60-hour requirements (whether as a transfer student or in UHCL classrooms), coursework for the Public Service Leadership degree is available online, making this program flexible enough to allow you to get your degree while meeting all of life’s demands.
Learn to Serve the Public
The multidisciplinary course content focuses on cross-functional roles and collaboration
across disciplines, including government, business and human sciences to help students
address the complex challenges encountered in public service. Graduates of this program
are educated to take dynamic leadership roles in emergency management, firefighting,
urban planning and various positions in civil service at the city, state or federal
level.

Online applications close for transfer students after the Priority Deadline, the application will be extended to January 11th on ApplyTexas for Transfer students. Starting January 12th all transfer students interested in applying for Spring 2021 will need to have all official documents (transcripts from every college or university attended and application fee) in hand and will need to complete a paper application. Students who apply after the priority deadline must submit all required documentation with their paper application to the Office of Admissions and will be processed for late registration.
