Educational Management M.S. with Principal as Instructional Leader Certification and Master Technology Teacher Certification

Make Informed Technology Decisions for Your School and District

With a Master of Science in Educational Management from the College of Education at University of Houston-Clear Lake, you’ll be able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to interact effectively with teachers, students and the community. School administrators juggle many roles, but with a Principal as Instructional Leader Certificate and Master of Technology Teacher Certificate, you'll be prepared for today’s technologically integrated classrooms. You’ll also become a coveted educational leader who possesses the technical skills and knowledge to make the best possible decisions about hardware and software programs at both the local and district level.

The Training Your Need to Help Your Students and Teachers Succeed

Your degree in educational management will consist of 40 hours of graduate coursework discussing topics in professional education, administration, and instructional technology. You’ll take classes in statistics, multicultural education, educational leadership, learning theory, principalship and more, while also preparing for a Capstone experience that will put your education to the test! If you have a valid Texas teaching certificate, two years of successful full-time classroom teaching in an approved accredited school and a passing score on the Principal state assessment, it’s time to take your career as an educator to the next level.
