Educational Management M.S. with Principal Certification

Leverage Your Leadership Strengths

Earning your Master of Science in Educational Management from the nationally recognized program at University of Houston-Clear Lake will provide you with innovative and workable solutions to relevant educational challenges. Providing a blend of academic and fieldwork experiences, this course of study features a Principal Certification that builds skills to evaluate transformational concepts and technologies, conduct meaningful assessments and develop curricula that meet a wide range of learning objectives. This degree is currently offered in both a traditional, face-to-face class format, as well as a hybrid format, featuring a mixture of face-to-face class sessions and online assignments.

Become a Change Leader in Your School

Learn to model the behaviors of collaboration and effective teaching that you’ll expect from the teachers on your staff. You’re on your way to becoming an instructional innovator and coach, and that’s why your coursework focuses on educational leadership skills, effective leadership in learning environments, state and federal school law, and school finance. In addition to the M.S. and principal certification, you will also earn the required Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) and Texas Teachers Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) certificates.
