Biography

Dr. David Moya is an artist educator and administrator in the Houston area. He has quite quickly amassed art education experience working with public schools, non-profits, and higher education. Having received his doctorate in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in STEM education, he is passionate about exploring authentic curricular connections with Arts and STEM (STEAM). The personal work he creates typically deal with religious and social themes through the lens of his judeo-christian-hispanic culture. He is currently a clinical assistant professor and the director for the Art School for Children and Young Adults.
