The purpose of SVA is to foster fellowship of current and former members of the active and reserve components of the United States Armed Forces and their families by providing mentorship and advice to all military veterans, and assist members of the veteran community in transitioning into their educational pursuits.

The sustainability club works to introduce and promote everyday sustainable practices to the UHCL community, the Clear Lake area, and the State of Texas to better our natural environment. This is achieved through awareness campaigns, lectures, community networking, and research projects.

UHCL-CC works to promote the sport of Cricket at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and in the USA. This will involve participation in matches and tournaments with other universities under the auspices of the national body, American College Cricket, teaching cricket to individuals, hosting cricket practice, & activities.
